First edition of a yearly event dedicated to students publications, this year will be an experimental, reflexive and prospective one - engaging students, teachers and “professionals” in public discussions and round tables dedicated to making and thinking editorial practices today. It will also be the occasion to think about events and structures around publications (book fairs, book awards, book exhibitions, etc) and to elaborate a proposal for the following editions of the event.
Students publications will be exhibited, and discussions and round tables organized.

Opening – exhibition of the students publications – from 17.00 to 20.00

Study Room / Factory – performance/workshop on the notions of references and inspiration. The students are invited to bring reference books (for their formal qualities, or their content, whether it is art books or theory books or even novels…) and work on building a progressive corpus of extracts, commented and annotated… A reader – from 14.00 to 19.00
S A T U R D A Y 2 5
Presentations and discussions on book making and thinking in the school context and outside of it, and elaboration of a proposal for the next years of F B S P – from 15.00 to 19.00
S U N D A Y 2 6
Study Room / Reader – continuation of the performance/workshop of sunday, and beginning of the collective work on the publication documenting the event – from 15.00 to 19.00

Initiated by members of Fernand Baudin Prize (awarding the most beautiful Brussels and Wallonia books), this student event aims to focus on research and reflexion around editorial practices, and brings together students from different superior art schools everywhere in Belgium, as a preamble to the opening of the professional Fernand Baudin Prize to the whole of Belgium.
